Balance Mat’s Sylvia Tulloch and Ian Bergman were delighted to accept an invitation to be part of the National Questacon Invention Convention on 17 January 2018.
Ms Tulloch and Ms Bergman attended a “networking night” as mentors to 25 high school students from across Australia with an interest in innovation.
The young people travelled to Canberra for a five-day program of inspiration and activity providing student delegates with practical experience in the development of ideas and prototyping.
The networking night was an inspirational highlight of the week, with the young people meeting and discussing innovation with a range of local entrepreneurs and inventors at the CBR Innovation Network space.
The Balance Mat fascinated the young people who stood on it, moved around and saw how their movements were reflected on the graphical interface.
